My first VR game
Made in Unreal, assets modeled in Blender
This VR experience was designed with confusion and a lost feeling in mind. The player gets the sense of an endless hallway of doors with identical doors with rooms with identical square floorplans, ceilings, furniture and small, everyday objects.
The only things that change are the arrangement of the objects in the rooms, sometimes in logical, traditional arrangements and sometimes in completely impractical fashion.
The small objects are interactable and meant to be picked up. I was inspired by the backdoors from The Matrix, the Department of Mysteries from the Harry Potter world and Alice in Wonderland and Hansel and Gretel.
